Project Details
Abonmarche worked to extend the popular Riverfront Trail adjacent to downtown in two directions: north to connect the riverfront with Plym Park and south toward the edge of town. We designed and administered construction of two miles of trail using Natural Resources money. Part of the existing trail was also relocated from a flood plain onto a railroad right-of-way. Another segment was rebuilt where it crossed a major route into the city to improve visibility and safety for trail users. The project included topographic surveying and staking, design and construction administration, and floodplain permitting to protect the prairie trillium.
