The City of Grand Haven’s Riverwatch project, led by Abonmarche, features reimagined gathering spaces, accessible pathways and greenspace on the sloping lawn to the waterfront off of Grand Haven’s Harbor Drive.

The Project consisted of constructing segmental block retaining wall, concrete plaza, decorative fencing and railing, ADA accessible sidewalks, landscaping, site furnishings, lighting and electrical improvements, HMA paving, irrigation system replacement and related site improvements.

Supported by a $1.6 million grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), the city’s Riverwatch project will also include underground burial of The Board of Light & Power electrical lines along that stretch of Harbor Drive, between Washington and Franklin avenues.
