Project Details
Abonmarche Byce provided architecture, interior design and engineering services for the tenant fit-out of West Michigan Interventional Pain and Spine inside the Advia Credit Union Headquarters. This project transformed an existing space into a state-of-the-art medical facility for specialized pain management treatments. The layout includes four 9’x9’ exam rooms, two lead-lined procedure rooms (16’x11.5’), and two private 8’x8’ offices. A clinical work area features a flexible walk-through space with a countertop, two desks, and ample cabinetry. The recovery bay accommodates three beds, separated by curtains, with 1-2 sinks and additional storage. A 4’ wide hallway connects the lobby to a shared restroom. The design maximizes natural light from west-facing windows and incorporates modern, industrial finishes, including laminate, concrete, and exposed concrete flooring to avoid carpeting. The ceiling remains unfinished to maintain height, except in lead-lined procedure rooms. This project successfully balances functionality, aesthetics, and patient comfort to create a high performance medical environment.
