Project Details
Abonmarche prepared a sanitary sewer system evaluation of the entire Benton Harbor sewer system. The evaluation included hydraulic models, cost effective analysis, SRF project plans, and proposed alternatives analysis. We then led public informational meetings and coordinated public input and compiled study results for the overall project design. We also managed the design and construction process through local municipalities and the MDEQ for administration of the $21 million SRF/DWRF project and qualified for partial ARRA funding. On-going coordination with adjacent townships has been required and continues today – due to township threats – to build their own water plant.
