Project Details
Abonmarche was chosen to work with the City of Allegan to improve and widen River Street from 24′ to 36′ to allow for paved shoulders. The design consisted of bit wedge curbs to control drainage, sight distance improvements at the 118th Avenue intersection approach (through vertical alignment adjustment and retaining walls). The project was funded by MDOT and small urban funding.
Abonmarche provided topographic and boundary survey, design, MDOT and utility coordination, construction administration, construction inspection, testing and staking.
