The Goshen Rotary Club is celebrating their 100th anniversary and wanted to give back to the Goshen community by gifting a new splash pad at Goshen’s Pringle Park and close proximity to a playground, sand volleyball courts, soccer fields, junior football fields, running/walking trails, and baseball fields.
Abonmarche initially provided topographic survey and utility investigation services for the proposed splash pad site in Pringle Park just north of Model Elementary School. Abonmarche worked closely with the Parks Department, Goshen Engineering, Goshen Rotary Club, and DJ Construction, the General Contractor, to lead discussions and design of the splash pad location, sidewalk approaches and pedestrian connectivity, site grading and drainage, utility layout and connections, helped evalulate existing soils with the Engineering Department and designed an under drain system, landscape layout and design, and site amenities with benches. During construction, Abonmarche assisted both the City and General Contractor on construction staking and various questions along the way.
