Project Details
For their 100th anniversary, the Goshen Rotary Club wanted to give back to their community. They generously gifted a new splash pad at Goshen’s Pringle Park, in close proximity to a playground, sand volleyball courts, soccer fields, junior football fields, running/walking trails, and baseball fields.
Abonmarche initially provided topographic survey and utility investigation services for the proposed splash pad site in Pringle Park just north of Model Elementary School. Our team worked closely with the Parks Department, Goshen Engineering, Goshen Rotary Club, and DJ Construction to lead discussions, design the splash pad location, sidewalk approaches, pedestrian connectivity, site grading, drainage, and utility layout and connections. We also helped evaluate existing soils with the Engineering Department and designed an under drain system, landscape layout and design, and site amenities. During construction, Abonmarche assisted both the city and general contractor with construction staking and various questions.
