Project Details
The goal of this project was to create a Cultural Trail Master Plan of planned improvements consistent with the National Lakeshore NPS, Native American Tribes, and Porter County Tourism staff goals. Abonmarche completed the Master Plan, providing design drawings, renderings and cost estimates on-time and on-budget.
Abonmarche provided public engagement support throughout the life of the project, ensuring the needs and wants of the Native American tribes, National Park Staff, local Town officials, and Porter County Tourism staff were all incorporated into the worked the design team’s final plan. The new Cultural Trail Master Plan features ADA-compliant design elements, as well as a culturally sensitive design approach to all of the improvements included in the plan.
