Project Details
This project involved the development of a new synthetic turf football field for Mishawaka High School, including concept planning and full construction design. The process began with topographic and utility surveys, geotechnical investigations, and private utility locating to assess site conditions. Multiple field design concepts were created with input from school staff, refining elements such as field colors, logos, and end zone designs. Final engineering drawings detailed the layout, striping, drainage, grading, and surfacing materials, while permitting efforts ensured compliance with soil erosion regulations. Vendor negotiations optimized costs, and construction administration services provided oversight, including contractor coordination and inspections. Completed on schedule from April to August 2024, the new field enhances athletic opportunities for students and the community.
