Project Details
Abonmarche completed design, bidding assistance, and construction phase services for improvements to Mahan Park, delivering a comprehensive upgrade to the park’s structures, hardscape, landscaping, and site amenities. The project included removal and replacement of the existing gazebo with a new prefabricated structure, selective replacement of decorative pavement in front of the stage while salvaging existing brick pavers, and construction of a new sidewalk seating area along the south side of the park. Landscaping and tree plantings were added along the site perimeter to enhance aesthetics and functionality.
Additional improvements included replacement of site lighting with new poles and fixtures consistent with the downtown standard, along with added lighting for the new seating area. New donor plaques and a steppingstone path were installed along the south side of the donor wall to improve circulation and visitor experience. The project was coordinated to align with the Regent Theatre Parking Lot Improvements, allowing for concurrent construction and increased efficiency during the construction phase. Abonmarche also assisted with bidding services following completion of the design package.
