In November 2016, Abonmarche completed a facilities assessment for Benton Harbor Area Schools, providing an analysis of key buildings.
Abonmarche staff made assessments of the physical condition and functional capabilities of existing facilities, made cost projections to assist the BHAS Board in developing project priorities, and provided space allocation data to inform decisions concerning the reprogramming or rehabilitation of existing space and new construction. Abonmarche staff took into consideration the sustainability of the existing facilities and provided recommendations of numerous improvements.
The study allowed the school district to identify space issues, establish capital planning priorities, and address requirements established by the BHAS Board and Administration.
