Project Details

In 2016, the State of Indiana introduced the Community Crossings Matching Grant Fund. The purpose of the grant is to provide matching funds for government units who want to be proactive in addressing their infrastructure needs.  Matching funds range from 50 to 75% depending on the size of the community. Abonmarche has been instrumental in helping several communities secure grant funding for local road projects.

Since an INDOT approved Asset Management Plan is required, Abonmarche completed an assessment of each road, utilizing the PASER Rating System. When the assessment was completed, the results were analyzed and the Asset Management Plan was created.

Abonmarche then assisted in the selection of the projects to be submitted for grant consideration. After the project list was finalized, the grant application was prepared along with all of the necessary documentation required for submittal.

Once grant funding was awarded, Abonmarche created the plans, specifications, and bid documents to secure pricing. For several of the communities, Abonmarche provided construction management services for the duration of the projects.
