Project Details
Abonmarche provided architectural and engineering services for the next phase of the new Cass District Library Edwardsburg Branch, supporting design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration. The project includes a new 9,500 SF branch library located on a 5.4-acre site along the north side of US-12 in Edwardsburg, Michigan, designed to serve the Cass District Library and the greater Edwardsburg community. The project was delivered using the traditional Design-Bid-Build method, following completion and approval of the Schematic Design Phase by the Library Administration and Board.
Building upon the approved schematic concepts, Abonmarche developed detailed design and construction documents to support bidding and construction. Services included site, civil, and landscape planning; life safety planning; structural and foundation design coordination; architectural floor plans, elevations, and sections; interior layouts and finish schedules; door and window schedules; and full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system design, including integration of fire suppression layouts provided by others.
