Project Details
After a 25-year hiatus, Southwestern Michigan College decided to revive its athletics program and turned to Abonmarche for design solutions. The project involved a significant renovation to an active student activity center, one that must integrate with existing conditions and updated mechanical and structural systems. The client wished to maintain a strict project schedule to accommodate students during the academic year.
Our team designed an office/observatory ‘nest’ overlooking the gym, a new state of the art training room, premium locker rooms for players and officials, updated HVAC, lighting, seating, AV, and more. Additionally, we worked to support school branding and optimize potential donor opportunities with the new facilities. In so doing, Abonmarche created a first-class experience for students, coaches, and visitors alike.
