Project Details

This project involved the development of a new EMS/Ambulance Station to enhance local emergency response capabilities and provide essential accommodations for ambulance staff. The facility features a two-bay ambulance garage, ensuring secure & efficient vehicle and equipment storage. Additionally, 2 short-term-stay residential units were constructed exclusively for ambulance personnel, offering private on-site overnight accommodations. The residential space includes a shared living area, 2 private bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with showers, and essential storage, circulation, and mechanical spaces to support daily operations.

Site improvements included a newly constructed asphalt access drive and a limited parking area to accommodate ambulance traffic and ensure ADA accessibility. Utility upgrades consisted of a new water service line connection to the municipal main, abandonment of existing on-site private septic system, a new sanitary service line connection to the public sewer for wastewater treatment, and a stormwater collection and conveyance system to support new impervious surfaces. These enhancements facilitated seamless operations of adjacent on-site municipal governance offices while maintaining environmental compliance and accessibility standards.
