Project Details
The purpose of the project was to create a multi-use path from College Avenue to Purl Street, providing improved pedestrian and bicycle access to both Goshen High School and Goshen College. Abonmarche’s role of construction inspection/administration included ensuring the workmanship and materials are in accordance with INDOT standards, as well as coordinating with the City of Goshen, INDOT, and property owners along the corridor.
Throughout the project, Abonmarche conducted constant engagement sessions with the contractor, holding regular progress meetings while communicating with INDOT and the City of Goshen. We gathered and analyzed feedback from property owners, listening to their concerns during construction and then finding solutions to mitigate or resolve those concerns. By proactively alerting the City to construction obstacles, updating them with progress and expected costs, we were able to continue moving toward the client’s goal on-schedule.
