Abonmarche was selected to perform the site planning and site design for a new branch for First Source Bank in Middlebury, Indiana. Services included performing an ALTA Survey with topographic elevations and utilities, rezoning, subdivision platting to create a buildable parcel through Elkhart County, site planning, landscape design to compliment the building and create curb appeal, site engineering with grading, drainage, utility design, stormwater management with a combination of a drainage basin with a subsurface system to help with infiltration, and a separate drainage system for runoff from adjacent horse and buggy parking.
The existing topography sloped away from the street approximately 8 feet vertically across the site, thus requiring extensive grading and earthwork to create a building pad and provide stormwater management. Abonmarche also lead the rezoning public meetings, discussions and site plan review through Elkhart County and the Town of Middlebury.
